Future in Tech (FiT), a provider of information governance and document lifecycle management, is excited to announce the appointment of Dr. Galina Datskovsky, Ph.D., CRM, FAI, to its Board of Directors. Dr. Datskovsky is an internationally recognized expert in information governance, compliance, privacy and artificial intelligence, with over 25 years of experience driving innovation and leadership across the technology and information management sectors.
Dr. Datskovsky’s distinguished career includes serving as the founder and CEO of MDY Advanced Technologies, where she developed MDY FileSurf®, a leading records management software later acquired by CA Technologies. She subsequently held executive roles at CA Technologies, Autonomy and HP, where she led global teams and implemented transformative governance and compliance strategies.
A key highlight of Dr. Datskovsky’s career is her leadership within ARMA International, the premier association for records and information management professionals. She served as Chair, President, President-Elect and Director from 2007 to 2013. In 2014, she was named a Fellow of ARMA International.
Currently, Dr. Datskovsky serves on several boards, including OpenAxes, CADS.ai and the Executive Women’s Forum. Her strategic vision has driven the success of numerous startups, including several high-profile acquisitions, cementing her reputation as a trusted advisor and industry innovator.

She holds a Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence and her master’s and bachelor’s degrees in Computer Science from Columbia University. She has received numerous accolades, including the prestigious Emmett Leahy Award.
